Surf Fishing Report:
Anglers are catching good numbers of nice Bluefish. Lots of small Trout.
Robert Steranko caught a good size False Albacore from the surf. He said Albacore crashed the surf on Monday and again several times yesterday and evening. Lots of bait in the water.
We have calm seas this morning and a cloudy day.
The winds are WSW at 10 and the water temp is 64 degrees.
Sound Fishing Report:
No report from the Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish and Trout.
Nags Head: Bluefish and Trout.
Jennette’s: Nice size Bluefish and small Trout.
Outer Banks: Bluefish, Blow Toads, Trout and Mullet.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The Inlet anglers caught Trout, Blues and Puffers Yesterday. I understand there was some good fly fishing going on also.
Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore fleet caught a significant amount of Yellowfin, near limits of Dolphin and a Wahoo. There were 2 White Marlin.
