It is a cloudy day on the Outer banks with sunshine in the forecast for the next 2 days.
Anglers are beaching small Trout from the surf on this end. The south beaches reported slow over all but did catch some Bluefish, Sea Mullet, Puppy Drum and Specks.
Jennette’s Pier is also reporting small Trout.
This has been a long dry spell for the Bluewater fleet.
I was told by Keith Decastro there were plenty of hungry Stripers in the sound yesterday.
The winds are NNW at 11 and the water temp is 55 degrees.
