There are small Bluefish and Dogfish scattered on the North beaches. There were good catches of Bluefish on the south beaches. There were plenty of Sea Mullet as well. Buxton had Puppy Drum. A few big Drum were caught at the point overnight.
Striper fishing has slowed over the weekend. Should pick up when the weather changes.
Jennette’s Pier is catching Bluefish this morning.
The ocean is calm with small clean swells. We are expecting air temp to reach 71 degrees with rain later today. Unusual weather.
The winds are SW at 8 and the water temp is 59 degrees.
