Fishing Report:
Surf fishing is slow. There were Blow toads and Dogfish on most of the beaches south of us. A few small Blues added at the point and scattered Sea Mullet on the south beach.
I was at ramp 4 and only Skate were biting. It was a beautiful day on the beach.
Jennette’s Pier anglers caught some 12 in Rockfish.
Capt. Lusk took his kids sound fishing near Wanchese and caught some 14 in Drum. I am more than happy to get sound news.
The fleet from Oregon Inlet had plenty of catch and release monster Bluefin over the weekend also a few Yellowfin. Pirates Cove also reported 500 to 800 lb releases.

The winds are S at 6 and the water is 47 degrees. Mostly sunny, small swells, gentle winds.
