In Summary:

Surf Fishing Report:
It was a day of high winds and not much fishing went on until late afternoon when the conditions improved. A few Sea Mullet were scattered on the south beaches. It was slow on this side of the bridge as well. A few Sea Mullet and Bluefish. Kelly Kranker caught a nice Drum at Oregon Inlet.

The winds are SW at 8 and the water temp is 63 degrees. Calm ocean, light wind and sunshine.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported catching Trout.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Trout, Grays and Puppy Drum.
Nags Head: Trout.
Jennette’s: Bluefish, Spanish, Sea Mullet, Sand Perch and caught and released a 35 in Cobia using a live Sand Perch.
Outer Banks: Spanish, Blues, Trout, Black Drum and Puppy Drum.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
A few Boats braved the wind and was rewarded with Cobia.

Offshore Boats Report:
No report.
