Surf Fishing Report:
We had quite a thunder and lightning storm late evening. We have a forecast of showers everyday for the next 5 days. We have seen that particular forecast most of the summer but seldom a day you can’t fish. Fishing is still slow with some Spanish in Buxton. Another hammer head shark was caught in Avon. 3 this week from 9 to 13 ft. I have heard nothing to report from this end. Though I am pretty sure there were bottom fish and Bluefish caught.

Sound Fishing Report:
As I told you yesterday my daughter fished the little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway. They caught most anything you could name. They did not bring anything home and I was glad, but had so much fun because it was a steady bite.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Slow.
Nags Head: Slow.
Jennette’s: Pigfish, Bluefish and Croaker
Outer Banks: Sea Mullet.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
No report from yesterday. Albacore fishing was good most of the week.

Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet stayed in the creek yesterday.

The winds are W at 15 and the water temp is 64 degrees. Mostly cloudy, flat surf, windy.
