Surf Fishing Report:
How good is it when you are having beautiful weather and the fish are biting?
Bluefish and Puppy Drum up and down the Hatteras beaches. Speckle Trout, Pompano and Sea Mullet in the Avon area. On the beaches north of the inlet fishing was good from the surf with anglers catching Bluefish, lots of small Trout, Pompano are still around, Sea Mullet, Flounder, Spot, Black Drum and Puppy Drum at ramp 2 & 4.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported a few Stripers.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Trout and Bluefish.
Nags Head: Trout and a keeper Puppy Drum
Jennette’s: Trout, Sea Mullet, Pompano, Black Drum and Flounder.
Outer Banks: Lots of Trout.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Stripers were caught in the sound.

Offshore Boats Report:
No boats off shore.

The winds are NW at 8 and the water temp is 64 degrees. Sunny, light winds, small uneven swells.
