Fishing Report:
It was a big Drum bite. The best Drum bite yet. People fishing the point got lucky yesterday. Sam and Erik picked up there custom rods from Nick Walke at TW’s Tackle in the afternoon and a few hours later they were catching Drum. Sea Mullet, Blow Toads and Bluefish were along the Hatteras beaches. North of the Inlet there are Bluefish and Sea Mullet.
Good catches of Bluefish on the piers yesterday and they were biting all day. Justin Wase said there were over 200 in less than 2 hrs at OBX and he caught 30. The same for all the piers. Bluefish likes clear water because they feed by site and the ocean is clear again today. The Piers are catching Bluefish this morning with some Shad. There is an Angler fishing beside Avalon pier catching Bluefish and Trout this morning.
The fleet stayed in due to conditions.

The winds are SE at 5 and the water temp is 53 degrees. Mostly sunny, calm winds, weak swells.
