Surf Fishing Report:
The fishing picked up yesterday with Avon reporting Pompano, Sea Mullet and Spanish and Buxton also catching Pompano. Sea Mullet and Bluefish were scattered from Frisco to Hatteras.
The Cape is now open to driving and I have heard of Spanish and Blues are biting there.
We also have Sea Mullet, nice Pompano on the north beach’s with some Spot added.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported early morning Trout.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Flounder, small Spot, Mullet and Triggers.
Nags Head: Blow Toad, Mullet, Flounder, Bluefish and a couple of Sheepshead.
Jennette’s: Sea Mullet, Triggers, Croaker, Spot, Puffer.
Outer Banks: Spot and Sea Mullet.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Inshore had Albacore, Moon fish, Ribbon fish, Sharks and a good Trout bite. Nearshore Spanish, bluefish, Albacore, Triggers and Ribbon fish.

Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore boats returned to the creek with good catches of Dolphin, some Blackfin, plenty Yellowfin, Tilefish and Swordfish as well.

The winds are N at 7 and the water temp is 77 degrees. Sunny, calm winds, flat Ocean.
