Surf Fishing Report:
Southwest winds and a cold ocean was a problem for the boats and for the surf fishermen as well. I heard of some Sea Mullet caught on the north end of Hatteras Island and Spot and Sea Mullet north of the Inlet and that’s about it.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, Spot and Croaker.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spot.
Nags Head: Croakers, Rays, Mullet and a couple of good Bluefish runs.
Jennette’s: Sea Mullet, Sand Perch, Triggers, Sea Bass.
Outer Banks: Sea Mullet, Spot and a 3 ½ lb Flounder.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore boats had plenty Ribbonfish, some Kings, Spanish, Albacore and Tilefish and Sea bass bottom fishing. Inshore Trout, red Drum and Sharks.

Offshore Boats Report:
There was a high wind problem for the fleet yesterday. A few boats sailed and were rewarded for their effort. Yellowfin, Blackfin, Wahoo and Gaffer Dolphin were decked.

The winds are SW at 8 and the water temp is 59 degrees. Sunny, breezy, small swells.
