Surf Fishing Report:
A citation Drum and some Bluefish were caught at the point. Some Sea Mullet, Pompano, Puppy Drum were scattered.
It is beautiful weather on the Outer Banks and people are fishing. I have not gotten any concrete news but I’m sure there are some Sea Mullet, small Drum, Spot, a Trout or 2 and maybe a few Pompano.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported a couple of Trout and Bluefish.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: It is so slow this morning the piers will not answer their phones.
Nags Head: A couple of Spot.
Jennette’s: Slow
Outer Banks: A couple of Spot, a couple of Mullet and a couple of Pompano.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
The Nearshore anglers brought in a variety of fish catching Almaco Jacks, Albacore, Triggers, Spanish and Bluefish. Inshore Plenty Trout, Sheepshead and Drum.

Offshore Boats Report:
It was a good Mahi bite with the fleet catching their limits. And some Wahoo and Blackfin as well.

The winds are NW at 7 and the water temp is 74 degrees. Sunny, calm winds, small surf.
