Fishing Report:

I am glad the wind has switched this morning and the Ocean has some movement. We have had what we call Lake Atlantic most of the week with a pretty flat Ocean and slow fishing from the surf. Despite that there were fish. There was a good Drum bite at the Cape early morning and Sea Mullet in the Frisco area. Spanish and Bluefish were scarce from the surf and I did hear of a few slot Drum. There was a few Sea Mullet reported north of  the bridge.
As for the blue-water charters there was a meat slam with Dolphin, Tuna and Wahoo, The nearshore had plenty Spanish and a few Cobia. Inshore anglers are still enjoying good Trout catches, some Spanish, and Drum.
Avalon is catching Mullet and OBX has Bluefish, small Drum and one keeper. I also was told Nags Head Pier might not open this year. That has not been confirmed. News about the Little Bridge. They are still closed because of social distancing but you can fish from the rocks all around the bridge.

The winds are NE at 5 and the water temp is 57 degrees. Sunny, light winds, small swells.
