Fishing Report:
It was a stellar day. No matter where you were fishing or what you were fishing for you came home with fish. Offshore returned to the docks with Yellowfin, Blackfin, Dolphin with gaffers, Wahoo and released a Blue Marlin. The nearshore anglers decked Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, Specks and Bluefish and a fair amount of Cobia. I read one boat caught there limits of Cobia 3 day running. Inshore Trout fishing couldn’t be any better. They are also catching Bluefish, Cobia, Sheepshead, Croaker and Black Drum.
There were Sea Mullet, Pompano and Bluefish scattered on the south beaches and whopping big Bluefish caught on the north beach. Michael Mizell was fishing the northmost of OBX in Sandbridge when he caught his Striped Bass using his TW’s Tackle’s gear.
Avalon Pier is catching Mullet, small Flounder and Skates. OBX has a no keeper Drum, Bluefish and Mullet. The fog has now lifted and I was told the water is clear as crystal. I would have not believed that but glad to hear it.
