Surf Fishing Report:
Wind was a problem again yesterday. There were some Pompano and Mullet scattered on the Island. Sea Mullet, Trout and Spot on this side of the bridge.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, Black Drum Croaker and more Drum than usual.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon:. Skate and Sea mullet.
Nags Head: closed.
Jennette’s: not open yet..
Outer Banks: Sea mullet and Trout.
Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Near shore caught Spanish, Bluefish and Trout and inshore Drum and Trout.
Offshore Boats Report:
Another good day for the fillet. Lots of Yellowfins, plenty bailor and gaffer Dolphin and some Big-eye Tuna. Good numbers of Tilefish for the bottom fishemen.
The winds are SW at 17 and the water temp is 61 degrees. Sunny, breezy, flat Ocean.
