Surf Fishing Report:
Surf fishing is on the slow side. On the Island there were some Puppy Drum at the Point some Bluefish in Hatteras. Probably some Sea Mullet scattered along with Skate.We had Skate, Sea mullet and some Puppy Drum North of the Inlet. And I was told there were loads of small Black Drum. have strong N winds today. Fall fishing should start after this blow and the Drum and Trout fishing should pick up.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported keeper Stripers on the Bridge yesterday with Drum and Trout. You can keep 2, 18 in Stripers/aday.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: slow.

Nags Head: Drum, Bluefish and Mullet

Jennette’s: Croaker

Outer Banks: 2 Trout, Spot and Sea Mullet.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore caught Albacore, Rockfish and Ribbonfish. The Inlet charters had Puppy Drum, Stripers and their limits of Trout.

Offshore Boats Report:

The fleet caught a generous amount of Blackfin and and managed to add a few Yellowfins and Mahi to the mix.

The winds are N at 25 and the water temp is 728 degrees. Mostly sunny, breezy, flat, choppy Ocean
