TW’s Daily Fishing Report

Congrats Robert Rickabaugh on a massive 8lb trout weighed in this morning!! Soundside fishing continues to get better and better, we have already heard reports this morning of limits of nice sized Speckled Trout caught from the Little Bridge! The Inshore boats and Kayak anglers have been finding schools of Puppy Drum and a lot of nice Trout on the flats around the Inlets and on the back side of the islands.

Some of the nearshore boats were lucky enough to find some cobia yesterday out of Hatteras.

The weather outlook for the rest of the week looks beautiful! With todays conditions we are expecting to hear some reports of cobia by the end of the day today.

Surf and Pier fishing picked up quite a bit with more Puppy Drum, Sea Mullet, a few nice Trout, and some big chopper Bluefish being caught.

The Offshore fleet had a little bit scrappy fishing yesterday. Most boats found some gaffer Dolphin and a few Yellowfin Tuna, although we did hear a couple boats caught some Bigeye Tuna and there were some Billfish Releases.
