TW’s Daily Fishing Report

The Tuna Bite offshore of Oregon Inlet continues to be phenomenal! Boats have been catching their limit before lunch just about every day. Capt Jack Graham of the Afishionado sent us some awesome pictures of their catches from the past few days!

Surf fishing has picked up, we have received pictures and reports of some really good Puppy Drum fishing here in Nags Head! Along with the Puppy Drum. We have received reports of Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Sea Mullet, Pompano, and even a few Large Sharks!

The local piers are reporting Bluefish, Sea Mullet, Croaker, Grey Trout, a few Spanish Mackerel, and one lucky anglers even landed a 42 inch Red Drum on Jennettes Pier yesterday!

Inshore Boats and Kayak anglers are still finding good Puppy Drum fishing around the inlet on gold spoons and jigs. The Trout bite has slowed a little but there have still been some big ones being caught, we weighed a 5.5lb citation yesterday that a gentleman caught on a Z-Man Fishing Products MinnowZ!
