TW’s Daily Fishing Report

Wednesday, November 2, 2022

Speckled Trout Fishing has begun to pick up in both the sound and the ocean! We have continued to receive good reports from The Little Bridge of plenty of small Trout with a handful of nice keepers mixed in. Also in the sound there are a fair amount of Puppy Drum, Bluefish, Sheepshead and Black Drum being caught.

We have received a handful of pictures and reports of some nice Trout in the surf, just this morning shop employee Jaden Rock sent us a picture of a good sized keeper he caught here in Nags Head! Down south we have heard reports of Bluefish at the Point and on the south beaches, and a fair amount of Puppy Drum and Sea Mullet on the north beaches. Good luck to all the anglers fishing the Cape Hatteras Anglers Club Tournament tomorrow and Friday, should be some good fishing!

From the piers there were some big Drum Caught yesterday at Avon and Rodanthe, nothing but sharks so far today though. Decent amounts of Spot, small Trout, Bluefish, and Sea Mullet have been caught on most of the piers from Nags Head down to Avon today!
