Monday Fishing Report and Tournament Update!

With the Coastal Angler Series coming to a close June 15th, anglers are fishing hard trying to move up the leaderboard! Just this morning, the Spring Trout Tournament had some action when Dane Rasmussen weighed in a 7.05lb Speckled Trout to take over third place. However, a couple of hours ago, Jerry Pruitt stopped by and weighed a 7.47 lb Trout that knocked Dane back to 4th! We still have not had a Cobia weighed in yet, and it is not too late to enter!

Sound side fishing was very good today with lots of Speckled Trout, Bluefish, Puppy Drum, and a few Big Drum caught! There were also reports of Sheepshead around the bridges.

Offshore fishing was really good today after the blow. Captain Jack Graham on the Afishionado had a full box of gaffer Dolphin! The Afishionado has some days open this month. If you want to get in on the action offshore, give them a call! Along with the Dolphin, we heard some reports of Tuna and Wahoo.

Surf fishing was a little slow this morning with a few reports of Sea Mullet, Croaker, and Bluefish on the north beaches. With the ocean calming down and the water clearing, the bite should pick up!

The piers have reported excellent fishing today! Jennettes Pier reported Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish on Got-cha Plugs, as well as Spot, Croaker, Sea Mullet, and Trout on bait!
