As conditions begin to deteriorate on the Outer Banks, anglers will be looking for big drum on the end of the Piers. We have plenty of fresh bait, lead, and rain gear to get the job done!
Although Hurricane Idalia will put a damper on most fishing plans for a few days, we cannot fail to mention the beautiful start to the week we had. The Sound-side fisherman found some Puppy Drum and Speckled Trout while those fishing from the surf caught Sea Mullet and some Spot. The piers saw Sea Mullet, Blues, Spot and Spanish. Nearshore boats caught Spanish, Triggers, and Ribbonfish. The offshore fleet continued to catch Sailfish, Dolphin, and Wahoo!
