Fishing Report
Fishing has been hit or miss lately, but when they’re bitin’, we’re catchin!!!
The piers had some really good Bluefish, Spot, Sea Mullet, and Trout this morning. They’ve also been reporting Big Drum, Sharks, Puffers, and Pigfish. We got these awesome photos of some guys and their Big Drum on Nags Head Pier the other night! We also heard some reports of Sheepshead being caught at the Bonner Bridge Pier this afternoon!
There have been Puppy Drum, Trout, Sea Mullet, Spot, and Bluefish caught in the surf. Cape Point has been a great spot for Drum and Bluefish.
There have also been reports of Flounder in the Surf and the Sound. There are also nice Speckled Trout and Puppy Drum being caught in the sound too.
The offshore boats that have gone out caught Blackfins, Yellowfins, Dolphin, and Wahoo. The Hatteras fleet has started catching King Mackerel.
We’d also like to congratulate Willow on her nice Buck she shot on opening day of gun season here in Eastern North Carolina! Way to go girl!
