Fishing Report

We had high hopes with the Full Moon this weekend, and we weren’t let down!

There’s been a nice run of Bluefish along the beaches, from Nags Head to Cape Point! There are still reports of Speckled Trout, Puppy Drum, Sea Mullet, Spot, and Flounder being caught too! We’ve also heard of a few Blowtoads around as well.

The piers have mostly seen Bluefish and Speckled Trout, but there are still some Sea Mullet and Puppy Drum too! There have been some Big Drum being caught on the piers, but we’re keeping on eye on the conditions expected later on this week

The Puppy Drum and Speckled Trout fishing in the sound has been pretty typical for Fall fishing! Ryan Gregory also sent us his picture with a couple of Sheephead he caught!

The offshore fleet is catching Blackfin and Yellowfin Tunas. Fin Planner had a great with day limiting out on Tunas. 🍣

The North Carolina Beach Buggy Association’s 14th Annual Red Drum Tournament wrapped up yesterday! As tournament season continues, we look forward to the Cape Hatteras Anglers Club Surf Fishing Tournament. If your team wants to put in a bait order, stop by or drop off your cooler! We’ll get you rigged up!
