Fishing Report

Happy Veteran’s Day to all who have served our beautiful country!

The November weather has been absolutely ideal and the fishing couldn’t be much better! As we approach some cooler weather, it has us excited for some good fishing conditions! The inshore bite continues to be full of Speckled Trout, Puppy Drum, and Flounder. Our friends @saltywatersobxfishing and @mott_ridge_charters have lead some successful trips in search of some decent sized fish. .

Surf fishing has been decent Drum fishing. There have been reports of Drum ranging from slot sized to bigger fish, which has us excited for the rest of the fall fishing season. There have also been continued reports of Bluefish and Sea Mullet as well! The piers have been reporting lots of Sea Mullet, small Speckled Trout, and Black Drum.

Offshore and nearshore boats have been busy hooking up with Mahi, Wahoo, Yellowfin and Blackfin Tuna. @afishionadocharters had a fun day offshore this past weekend.

Hunting season is also in full swing here in eastern NC! Congrats to @j_mallory05 on your Buck in Oak City. Duck season has also started back up with reports of a few Wood Ducks among a few other species in the area as well.
