Fishing Report
It’s summertime and we are so happy to see so much fishing action!
It was a little windy with rougher conditions today, but recently we can report there have been Bluefish, Spanish, Sheepshead, Spadefish, and a few few Cobia on the piers.
The surf fishing reports include Spot, Sea Mullet, Bluefish, Rays and Sharks. A few lucky anglers have even been able to pull in some small Cobia. Shout out to Mike Green who caught a 20” Spanish in south Nags Head. His daughter bet him he wouldn’t make it on to the fishing report, but here he is! Chris, Becky, and Brady caught some nice Bluefish as well!
Soundside fishing has been good for Trout, Drum, Sheepshead, and Bluefish. Trout season is back on and the current regulations state 14-20inch slot limit with an allowance of one fish over 26 inches and three per day.
The offshore fishing has been spectacular Maui fishing! There have been some Yellowfins caught too. There have also been some Billfish releases mixed in as well.
