Fishing Report
It’s been an epic week of fishing! The surf fishing, the pier fishing, the inshore fishing, and the offshore fishing is what fish dreams are made of!!
The stirred up seas were great for Drum fishing! Lots of drum were caught from the pier along with Flounder, Croaker, and Bluefish! However, we are happy to see things start to settle down. The surf fishing was more challenging as well, but it’s starting to get back to normal. Plenty of Drum, Sea Mullet, and Bluefish are ready to be caught!
The inshore fishing has also been delivering the Drum! If this is what’s to come this fall, we are pumped! There have also been good reports of Speckled Trout and Flounder too. Don’t forget the Sheepshead that have also been reported near the bridge!
The offshore fishing has been spectacular White Marlin fishing! This weekend we saw lots of Billfish caught during the this year’s Alice Kelly Ladies Only Billfish Tournament. There were a few Sails and Blue Marlin with some Wahoo and Mahis caught as well. Today kicked off the first day of fishing for the Pirate’s Cove Billfish Tournament. We saw lots of White Marlin caught today! Congrats to Catch 23 with 10 White Marlin! Cant wait to see what the rest of the week brings!!
