Fishing Report

Whether you’re casting from the surf, heading offshore, or working the sound waters, the Outer Banks continues to deliver exciting angling opportunities for both seasoned anglers and newcomers alike. From Red Drum and Speckled Trout inshore to Mahi, Tuna, and Billfish offshore, there’s something biting nearly every day!

The surf fishing has been decent fishing even with the tougher conditions. There have been reports of Bluefish, Spot, and Croaker. The piers have also been a popular fishing spot to fish in the rougher surf. There have been reports of Bluefish, Spanish, Drum, and Sea Mullet.

The sound side fishing has been the most productive spot for a wider variety of fish. There have been good reports of Speckled Trout, Bluefish, Flounder, and big Red Drum. The Drum fishing has started to really pick up with nice bites at dusk and throughout the day if you can find them! The Flounders have been around too just in time for the season to open up this weekend!

The offshore fishing continues to epic fishing! Lots of Billfish are being caught with the majority still being Whites. There have been good reports of Mahi as well! Get out there and get hooked up!
