Fishing Report
We certainly don’t have the most ideal conditions for September, but the Drum sure don’t mind!
There has been quite a bit of action on the piers the last few days! Get it while it’s hot because the Drum are biting! We have plenty of Drum rods ready for pier action as well as fresh bait! We are trying our best to keep the coolers stocked so if you need fresh mullet or fingers be sure to hit us up!
There has been a lot of action in the Sound as well! We have a few more days of Flounder season so get out there while you can! Lots of keepers are still being reeled in with some nice reports of Drum, Trout, and Bluefish as well. There were reports of some Sheepshead around Oregon Inlet this weekend as well!
It was a productive weekend of fishing in the surf! The 2025 Hatteras Village Invitational Surf Fishing Tournament took place Thursday and Friday and we’d like to congratulate the 1st place Ladies Team, the Queen Mackerels! Maggie is always making us proud with her surf fishing knowledge and fishing!
The offshore fishing continues to be good Marlin and Mahi fishing. Even though the fleet is staying in due to rough conditions, we know they are ready to get back out there!
