Fishing Report
The fall fishing continues to be extra spooky! Lots of fish and lots of effort!
The NCBBA Tournament wrapped up yesterday! We’d like to extend a congratulations to Mildred on her win in the overall category winning the longest overall Red Drum. Nothing beats seeing a lady angler taking home the title this year! Congrats to all the participants who were also able to land some Drum during the tournament as well! ![]()
There has been a lot of really nice Sea Mullet, Spot, and Bluefish on the piers the last few days. There are plenty of Speckled Trout and big Drum around as well. We are stocked up on fresh Mullet if you’re wanting to get loaded up for this upcoming blow. There have been reports of a good Bluefish bite on bait and metal on the southern beaches as well. Those wanting to catch Sharks, now is the time! There have been a ton getting caught off the surf and piers at night. Stop by and see us to get rigged up for whatever you may be after.
There are still some Sheepshead around inshore but that will probably change with this next blow, but hopefully we’ll see the good Trout bite stick around. Recently, there have been good reports of Trout in the sound and around the bridges. Lots of nice slot Drum mixed in as well. Make sure you’re fishing with soft plastics on jig heads and popping corks have been integral as well.
Plenty of action for the boats going offshore! Reports of Tuna and Mahi for @finplannersportfishing
