Fishing has picked up in the last couple days! From the Beaches and the piers there were catches of SPOT, SEA MULLET, CROAKER, FLOUNDER, BLUEFISH and POMPANO and SHEEPSHEAD.

Inshore continues to be doing great with SHEEPSHEAD, DRUM, TROUT and STRIPER.

The Offshore fleet has catches of MAHI, YELLOWFINS and TILE FISH.

Nearshore hit the docks with BLUE FISH and SPANISH MACKEREL.

It was a great day in the sound yesterday with DRUM, TROUT, SEA MULLET and FLOUNDER(reminder…Flounder is closed, opens Sept. 1-14)

The piers had a nice day with SEA MULLET, CROAKER, SEA, BLUEFISH GRAY TROUT, SPOT & PIGFISH.

From the beaches there were scattered SEA MULLET, CROAKER, SPOT and BLUEFISH.

Tropical Storm Elsa swept through the Outer Banks yesterday which kept the Offshore and Nearshore boats at the docks.

The piers had a good morning before the storm with SHEEPSHEAD, SEA MULLET, GRAY TROUT and CROAKER.
Off the beaches there were reports of nice size SEA MULLET down around Oregon Inlet.

The Inshore boats continue to have great catches of DRUM and TROUT, SHEEPSHEAD ans SEA MULLET & STRIPER.

Inland PERCH and BASS fishing continues to be plentiful.

Yesterday the Offshore boats brought YELLOWFINS limits of MAHI MAHI and TILE FISH back to the docks. There were a few BLUE MARLIN releases also.

The Nearshore boats saw a great day with BLUE FISH, KING MACKEREL, SPANISH MACKEREL, SEA BASS and AMBERJACK.

It was a slow day for the Piers, there was a report of a throwback COBIA. There were also some nice SEA MULLET caught on sand fleas. They also had some CROAKER, SPOT, BLUE FISH and SPANISH MACKEREL.

Inshore is still doing great with DRUM, TROUT, SEA MULLET and FLOUNDER.
Also the SHEEPSHEAD are definitely here!

Inland/Freshwater there were PERCH, BASS and CATFISH

Fish for the Fallen

What better day to drop updates about our ‘Fish for the Fallen’ tournament than July 4th!!!

We’re excited to be hosting our 1st Annual Fall Tournament to honor the sacrifices of the men and women who have served our great country. The tournament will officially begin September 11th and end on Veterans Day – November 11th with the winners and prize giveaways occurring November 15th at our Annual Oyster Roast.

From the piers there were BLUE FISH,
FLONDER and a 56lb KING MACKEREL!

From the Beaches there were SPOT, SEA MULLET, FLONDER and PUPPY DRUM.

From the Sound there still catching nice DRUM, TROUT and FLOUNDER

The OFFSHORE guys did great again with MAHI, YELLOWFINS and TILE FISH!

With the weather system we’ve had for the last of couple days its made for slow fishing from the piers and beaches. After today when the front pushes through, we should see great weekend fishing.

Not too many offshore boat made it out yesterday. For the ones that braved it, they were greatly rewarded! They brought back MAHI, YELLOWFINS, AND WAHOO!

Near charters brought back KING MACKEREL, SPANISH MACKEREL, FALSE ALBACORE and DRUM.

Inshore had another great day with SPECKLED TROUT, SEA MULLET and DRUM.

Yesterday the piers had reports of some SPOT, SEA MULLET and FLOUNDER(flounder is closed till Sept. 1)

From the beaches it was SEA MULLET and SPOT.

Nearshore charters brought back KING MACKEREL, SPANISH MACKEREL and SEA BASS.

Offshore boats had BIG EYE, YELLOWFINS, TILEFISH, WAHOO, MAHI and releases of BLUE MARLIN.

The sound fishing is still great with SPECKLED TROUT, PUPPY DRUM and FLONDER.

Inland there were PERCH and BASS

Tuesday with the southwest wind and the water turning dirty fishing from the beaches and piers was slow.

Offshore the guys brought to the docks BIGEYES, YELLOWFINS, MAHI MAHI, WAHOO, SEA BASS and TILE FISH There were also a couple boats with releases of BLUE MARLIN!
All in all a great day for the offshore fleet!

The sound is still on fire with citation size SPECKLED TROUT!
There were also reports of PUPPY DRUM and STRIPER.

June 29th Fishing Report

Yesterday was a true “summer day” beautiful clear waters and summer time fishing!

From the piers they caught some nice SPANISH MACKEREL, SPOT,SEA MULLET, FLOUNDER, SPADEFISH, POMPANO AND SHEEPSHEAD.

From the surf, up & down the northern beaches there were reports of SEAMULLET, BLUES and A few PUPPY DRUM.

The boys offshore did great with YELLOWFIN, DOLPHIN, TILES and a few BIGEYE.

The sound is still full of nice quality Trout and PUPPY DRUM!

TIDES: LOW was at 6:10AM, HIGH will be 12:27PM and LOW this evening will be 6:08.

WATER TEMP: 72 degrees
