Surf Fishing Report:
We are having nice weather this weekend. Sea Mullet seems to be what most people are catching with Drum being a close runner up. Some small Bluefish and Blowtoads on the Island. It was slow on this side of Oregon Inlet but a few Drum reported.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported catching small Drum.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Slow.
Nags Head: Sea Mullet and Trout.
Jennette’s: Bluefish, Black Drum, small Trout and Mullet.
Outer Banks: Sea Mullet, Flounder and Trout.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Inshore decked plenty Trout and even more Drum. No news from nearshore

Offshore Boats Report:
It was an awesome day for the fleet. Such a nice day to be on the water. They caught Blackfish and Mahi and good numbers of Yellowfin and some Wahoo. There also was a Sailfish release.

The winds are E at 8 and the water temp is 64 degrees. Mostly sunny, light winds, choppy swells.

Surf Fishing Report:
It was a beautiful day and surf fishing was back on. Hatteras Island finally had something to write home about with Puppy Drum and nice size Sea Mullet reported on the north end of the Island in Avon. Bluefish, Puppy Drum and Sea Mullet at the Point with Frisco catching the same and Hatteras adding Speckled Trout to the mix. On this side of the bridge we had the same but just more of it.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported catching Stripers and Drum

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spot, Mullet, Trout
Nags Head: Trout, Drum and Bluefish.
Jennette’s: Bluefish and Specs.
Outer Banks: Some Trout and a lot of grass.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
I have no news from nearshore. Inshore are catching Drum and Trout and Stripers.

Offshore Boats Report:
The Offshore fleet reported Yellowfin and Blackfin and there was a Blue Marlin release.

The winds are NE at 6 and the water temp is 64 degrees. Sunny, calm winds, small swells.

Surf Fishing Report:
Hatteras caught nice Bluefish. Plenty Sea Mullet on the beaches but exceptionally good at ramp 34. The Point reported Blues and Amberjack on metal. North of the Inlet small Trout, Bluefish, scattered Puppy Drum and Sea Mullet.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported catching Trout and Stripers.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Some keeper Trout and Puppy Drum.
Nags Head: Bluefish, Drum and Trout.
Jennette’s: Black Drum, Trout, Bluefish, Sea Mullet and Puppy Drum.
Outer Banks: Trout, Drum, Sea Mullet, Black Drum and Blowtoads.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore boats caught Bluefish and Rockfish. Inshore Drum, Trout and Stripers around the bridges.

Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore fleet came back to the docks with a Tuna slam catching Bigeye, Yellowfin and Blackfin. There were also Dolphin in that mix.

The winds are NE at 8 and the water temp is 63 degrees. Mostly cloudy, light winds, choppy small swells.

Surf Fishing Report:
Frisco reported Sea Mullet, and Blowtoads. The point had Puppy Drum, Trout and lots of Sea Mullet. There were Sea Mullet and Blowtoads up and down. We had nice size Trout reported on the North beaches with some citations and Puppy Drum. Sea Mullet, Black Drum and small Spot were caught also.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported catching slow.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: No contact.
Nags Head: Bluefish, Trout and Puppy Drum.
Jennette’s: Trout, Sea Mullet, and Bluefish.
Outer Banks: Trout, Bluefish, 2 keeper Drum, Sea Mullet, Spot and Black Drum.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
News is scarce but I did hear of some Albacore caught. Sound fishing for Trout has been slower than usual.

Offshore Boats Report:
A few boats fished yesterday and caught Blackfin and limits of Yellowfin. There was also news of a White Marlin release.

The winds are NE at 5 and the water temp is 63 degrees. Partly sunny, calm winds and calm Ocean.

Surf Fishing Report:
Drum were caught from Avon to Frisco. Also some scattered Sea Mullet, some citation size. We had Drum reported from Nags Head to Duck. Some Trout, Spot and Sea mullet were up and down with some slot Black Drum.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported slow.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Trout, some keepers and Puppy Drum.
Nags Head: Mullet. Trout and Puppy Drum.
Jennette’s: Bluefish and Trout
Outer Banks: Spot, Trout and Black Drum.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
No report

Offshore Boats Report:
The conditions have been a problem now for several days.

The winds are SE at 4 and the water temp is 63 degrees. Sunny, calm winds, flat, glassy Ocean

Surf Fishing Report:
I have nothing to report from Monday. This I do know, it was cold as a witches tit.
Today is a fisherable day as far as surf fishing. There may be some Skates you have to to contend with.
I’m assuming at the end of the day everyone would have voted. Stay safe.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported catching Catfish.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Trout and Bluefish.
Nags Head: Trout and Puppy Drum
Jennette’s: Sea Mullet, Speckle Trout and a Humpback Whale circling the pier.
Outer Banks: Gray Trout, Specks, Mullet and Spot, some decent size.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
No report.

Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet did not sail.

The winds are w at 13 and the water temp is 63 degrees. Sunny, breezy, small swells.

Surf Fishing Report:
Sea Mullet and Puppy Drum were caught at ramp 48 and there was news of big Reds at the point. Drum fishing was good at Oregon Inlet. Herb Ellington sent word he caught six Puppies at the skinny beach south of ramp 4. Kitty Hawk was good again for catching Drum and so was Southern Shores Some whopping big Black Drum were caught on the north end of our sand bar. Nice size Sea Mullet were caught with some citations.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported catching Drum.

Pier Fishing Report:
The piers are slow but there are some people fishing, just not catching.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
One boat fished for Rockfish and caught their limits.

Offshore Boats Report:
The fishing should improve by the middle of the week.

The winds are NW at 22 and the water temp is 64 degrees. Sunny, windy, rough Ocean

Surf Fishing Report:
It was a nice day. Unfortunately the conditions were poor for fishing. There were a few Puppy Drum in Avon and over-slot Red Drum reported off ramp 44. Most of my news has come from ramp 44 for the last couple of weeks. News have been almost non existing on my end of the line. There were Puppy Drum reported in Corolla and Neel and Courtney Smith caught two nice ones. Looking good!

Sound Fishing Report:
There are people fishing the Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway this morning but not catching so my source told me.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: 8 or 9 nice Puppy Drum.
Nags Head: One Trout.
Jennette’s: Trout, Mullet, Spot and I saw a Drum caught off the end while looking at the pier cam earlier.
Outer Banks: Puppy Drum, Spot and Mullet.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Offshore Boats Report:
Stayed tied to the docks another day.

The winds are E at 7 and the water temp is 66 degrees. Partly sunny, breezy, showers expected after 2, messy swells.

Surf Fishing Report:
There was a report there were nice Sea Mullet behind the Motels in Buxton. Tyler Mizer said they were good size at ramp 27. That is all I got this morning.
The guys at the Kitty Hawk store sent a picture of their, “in the store fishing report board”. Shear genius.
Everyone have a fun Halloween and stay safe.

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported no news.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Sea Mullet.
Nags Head: Sea Mullet, Bluefish and Trout. Lots of bait in the water.
Jennette’s: Croaker.
Outer Banks: Croaker.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
No boat reports today. They tell me the the sound is way to windy to fish.

Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet is in the creek another day.

The winds are NE at 14 and the water temp is 66 degrees. Partly sunny, breezy, rough Ocean

Surf Fishing Report:
Sea Mullet and Drum were reported on the south beaches and a few Drum, Trout and Sea Mullet on the north beaches. The winds were up to 40 by 2 o’clock and that was about the end of the fishing for the day.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported catching Drum. I heard there were Drum anywhere you fished on the causeway before the winds got up.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Mullet and Croakers
Nags Head: Mullet and Spot.
Jennette’s: Slow
Outer Banks: Mullet and Croakers

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
A few nearshore boats fished the Inlet and and a short distance off shore along the beach and caught Red Drum and False Albacore.

The winds are NW at 8 and the water temp is 68 degrees. Mostly cloudy, breezy, flat choppy Ocean
