Oregon Inlet reported one 70 in Bluefin and released one. Plenty of Drum on the South beaches. Shrimp is still the bait. Jennette’s pier reporting Dogfish. They make good fish-n-chips. The wind is NE at 12 and the water temp has warmed a bit to 41 degrees.

A few off shore boats went out on Wednesday. It was a short trip. The wind picked up early. A few Blackfin were caught and a good size Hammerhead Shark was released. Drum fishing was slow on the south beaches. We have strong winds gusting to 35, rough water with the temp being 38 degrees.

The boats were out yesterday from Oregon Inlet. The Bluefin were there, they just wouldn’t bite. Pirates Cove charters caught and released a few. The Drum were scattered on the south beaches. Our nice weather will end today. Another cold front. The wind is SW at 13 and the water temp is 39 degrees.
