Oregon Inlet had a couple of boats out yesterday. There were no Bluefin spotted, but caught a couple of Yellowfin. A few Puppies were caught in the Frisco area. We have a spring Day. The wind is S at 15 and the water has nice swells with the temp being 41 degrees.

We have high winds and rough water. The wind is NW at 26 and gusting at 40. The water temp is 42 degrees. The wind chill is 24 degrees. Once this day is over, weather will improve. There is no surf or boat fishing report this morning. The wind is NE at 7 and the water temp is 43 degrees. Fishing is going to be slow the next couple of days. Good time to clean your gear and get ready for spring.

There is very little fishing news this morning. The weather is going to be a factor from now until Thursday for the charters and surf fishermen. There were a few Drum caught yesterday down south. Spring weather coming soon.

Pirates Cove had a mixture of fish yesterday, catching Blackfin, Yellowfin and a citation Wahoo. One of the private boats caught a 91.5 in Bluefin. Oregon Inlet brought in a 400 lb Bluefin. The Puppy Drum bite picked up a little on the south beaches. A few were caught at the cape and ramp 49. …

The Puppy Drum were back again on the south beaches. Cape Point, Buxton, and Frisco reported Drum. Oregon Inlet was able to sail again. They had Bluefin releases up to 450 lbs. Two 100 lb Bluefins were brought back to the docks. Blackfin was also caught. It is a nice day on the Outer Banks. …
