Yesterday was a rough day. We had gully washing rains and high winds. We had a cold front to come through last night. The temp had a big drop. The water temp is 48 degrees with N winds gusting at 35 mph.
The boats did not sail yesterday.
North beach surf fishing is slow. The good news is…. Mile Giles caught a 23 in Puppy Drum in Ocean Sands. That’s the first Drum news I have gotten from north of Duck. Blow Toads and Puppy Drum are caught from most of the south beaches. There were a few big Blue fish caught at ramp 55. Night fishing is good at the Cape, producing citation Red Drum. The piers are slow this morning. Maybe later today.
