It’s pretty much an ugly weekend. Ugly water, Ugly wind, ugly. The wind is NE at 20 and the water temp is 50 degrees.
We do have pier action. Jennette’s Pier anglers have decked Drum for the last several days and OBX Pier caught a 22 in Drum and an 18 in Striper. Weston Plunket told me he caught 6 Drum at Jennette’s. (Click on picture).
Surf fishermen caught Drum, Sea Mullet and Blow toads at the Buxton jetties. Drum fishing has been good all week on the south side of the Oregon Inlet Bridge. That’s tough fishing standing in the water with the wind in your face.
