Surf Fishing Report:
Scattered Flounder, Sea Mullet and Croakers on the north beaches. On the south beaches it was slower than usual, but far south Hatteras reported good fishing catching Drum, Mullet, Pompano, Flounder and Bluefish.
The wind is SSW at 11 kts. The water temp is 58 degrees. The water is flat and cold.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported small Trout and small bottom fish.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: A few Sea Mullet, Spot and Bluefish.
Nags Head: Blues, Spot and Croakers.
Jennette’s: Small Sea Mullet and small Bluefish.
Outer Banks: Plenty of Spot and some Croakers. Water temp is 61 degrees.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Nearshore boats had spectacular fishing on Monday. A mix catch of Bluefish, Amberjack, Cobia, Bonita and Spanish.
Offshore Boats Report:
Gulfstream charters filled their boxes with Dolphin and a few Yellowfin. A 182 lb Tuna was reported and also a 400 # Blue Marlin.
