In Summary:

It’s a windy day here on the Outer Banks! Winds are out of the south-southwest around 20 to 30 knots and a temperature in the low 70’s. The water temperature today is 45 degrees and is fairly dirty. It’s a great day to be outdoors!

Surf Fishing Report:

Surf fishing has been pretty slow today because of the winds but it is good that we are getting these winds to warm the water up!
Sound Fishing Report:
The fishing in the northern parts of the sound have remained pretty slow but the Puppy Drum fishing in the southern parts have been very good at times.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Closed

Nags Head: Closed

Jennette’s: Few Dogfish and Skates

Outer Banks: Closed
Inshore Boats Report:
Inshore fishing has still remained slow because of cold water temperatures.
Offshore Boats Report:

None of the boats were able to make it today to the gulfstream because of the winds, However yesterday there were some decent Bluefins caught along with a few yellowfin tuna and a couple makos.
