The Cobia Fishing and Tuna Fishing out of Oregon Inlet this week has been down right silly. Offshore boats having their limit of Tunas by 8:30am. Nearshore boats catching 20 cobia a day!!! On top of that the Trout and Puppy Drum fishing in the sound has been excellent, with anglers catching citation Trout and and a bunch of Drum!

If you want to get in on the cobia action this weekend the weather looks great! Stop in and pick up some Bowed Up Lures and Meat Hog Fishing bucktails. We also have live eels in stock!

Aside from the awesome Tuna fishing out of Oregon Inlet, the offshore fleet has had very good Dolphin fishing to the south off of Hatteras, as well as a handful of Sailfish and Blue Marlin releases.

The Inshore boats and Kayak anglers have been having a field day with the Speckled Trout and Drum this week. Justin Stewart and Kyle Berry found a school of drum yesterday and caught a bunch of fish using topwater! They also caught a limit of Trout with a 25.5 inch release citation to top off the day!

Surf and Pier fishing has also continued to pick up! We have heard reports of a few cobia and some nice Spanish Mackerel being caught from the piers. Surf fisherman have still been having good luck with Puppy Drum, Sea Mullet, Bluefish, and Skates.

We just got in a fresh batch of Fiddler Crabs this morning, as reports of some nice Sheepshead from the Bonner Bridge Pier have been coming in the last few days.

We are stocked up and can’t wait to see everyone this weekend. The weather looks beautiful and the fishing is excellent! No better time to come visit the Outer Banks and do some fishing!
