Cobia are being caught from Hatteras to Virginia Beach right now. The Kayakers, Paddle Boarders, and even the Surf Fishermen are getting in on the action!

Offshore the Tuna fishing continues to be spectacular, boats are catching limits of Yellowfin before 10:00am. We even heard reports of a few fish getting caught on poppers this weekend.

Aside from the awesome Cobia fishing, nearshore boats are still finding those schools of Big Drum consistently. The Spanish Mackerel bite has picked up the last couple days as well for those trolling spoons outside the inlet.

In the sound the Trout bite has become a little more spotty, but if you happen to find the fish there have been some BIG Trout being caught! The schools of drum seem to have spread out a little more as well, but the flats around the inlet are still holding plenty of fish.

Surf fishing is heating up to the south as the warm summer water moves in. We heard reports of some big Pompano, Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, Sharks, and even a few Chopper Bluefish being caught!
