Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸🎇

Wishing you a safe and fun filled day🎉

We hope you are enjoying this beautiful day with your family and friends on the water 🎣

Fishing continues to be good for the Surf, Pier, and Inshore anglers. It does sound like the bite offshore has slowed a bit after the front that moved through yesterday, but we are hopeful it will pick back up!

The Piers here on the northern beaches had reports of Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Triggerfish, Black Drum, Flounder, and a few Sheepshead. We heard there have been some Tarpon and a couple Cobia seen on a couple of the piers, but none have been caught.

Surf anglers are still finding a decent amount of Puppy Drum and Sea Mullet. There has even been quite a few large Flounder being reported. Remember Flounder season is currently closed so they must be released until it opens later this summer.

The Puppy Drum bite was very good today for the Inshore anglers with a handful of boats reporting double digit catches. Hopefully the good Inshore fishing continues! If you are interested in getting in on the action on a high quality Pedal Drive Kayak, stop by the shop and talk with our staff about Feelfree Kayaks !
