Fishing Report
It’s been a fun start to the holiday week! We’re so happy to see so many return customers here for the week to spend their Thanksgiving on the Outer Banks!
Pier fishing has been producing a variety of species! Black Drum, Sea Mullet, Blowtoads, Speckled Trout, and Puppy Drum have been reported from the piers.
The surf has been a little rough, but nothing too terrible if you’re prepared with some lead sinkers. There have been reports of Puppy Drum further south near the Point. There have been quite a few reports of Black Drum and Sea Mullet along the beaches.
Sound fishing has been the spot for Striper fishing! There are also some Speckled Trout and Puppy Drum still being caught in the sound as well.
Shop Employee Kyle Berry spent his Monday on the Miss Hatteras Party Boat King Mackerel fishing! A Blackfin Tuna was caught during the trip as well! Shop Employee Travis Kemp spent his Monday Troutin’ around the sound!
Our friend Matt stopped by and shared how opening day of Duck season turned out for him his loyal hunting partner Tuna! Looks like they had a great start!
