Fishing Report

There wasn’t much fishing going on today with the thunder and lightening storms, but that doesn’t mean fish haven’t been being caught!

Lots of anglers have been targeting Trout now that the season is wide open again! The soundside fishing continues to be good for Trout, Drum, and Bluefish. The inshore and nearshore charters have had great luck with Trout, Drum, and Flounder. We also had the pleasure of weighing in a citation Pompano caught south of the Oregon Inlet bridge! Congrats Adam!

The piers have been a popular spot with anglers trying to avoid the excessive grass and seaweed. There have been reports of Spot, Croaker, Sea Mullet, Black Sea Bass, Bluefish and Flounder.

The offshore fishing has been great when the boats have been able to make it out! Lots of Tunas and Mahis are making it back to the docks! There have also been some Wahoo caught and nice Billfish releases as well! @afishionadocharters
