Fishing Report
It was a gorgeous July weekend on the OBX and the fishing did not disappoint!
The piers were a hot spot this weekend with reports of a wide range of fish! Sea Mullet, Sand Perch, Pigfish, Bluefish, Black Sea Bass, and Sheepshead were reported from the various piers along the island!
Anglers from the surf also caught Sea Mullet, Puppy Drum, Bluefish, and Flounder. Further south, there were reports of Spanish, Pompano, Spot, Croakers, Sea Mullets, and Sharks!
The inshore and nearshore fishing continues to be great for Trout in the sound and Drum fishing! There have also been reports of some Bluefish and a few Sheepshead around the bridges and pilings. We even weighed a citation Sheepshead earlier today! @saltywatersobxfishing@mott_ridge_charters@above_c_level_adventures
The offshore fishing has been spectacular! Lots of Mahi biting and plenty of Tunas! Shop employee Ethan went out with Fishin Frenzy and had a great day catching his first Sailfish along with some Dolphins and Tunas! Fish has had great days coming back to the docks with a full fish box! @afishionadocharters @fishin_frenzyofficial @e_crowe25
