Fishing Report
The weather might be a bummer, but it seems the fish don’t mind!
Anglers have been busy catching Drum from the piers with bites happening quite frequently through the week and continuing into the weekend. The full moon and the weather set us up for some good fishing! A few Spot, Sea Mullet and Black Drum were caught this week as well. There were also reports of some small Speckled Trout earlier in the week, but we haven’t seen any lately with the change of the conditions.
While the surf fishing has and will continue to be too challenging, the soundside fishing has been good for Speckled Trout, Bluefish, Puppy Drum, and Big Drum. The Bonner Bridge and the Little Bridge have seen some action this week and will be good spots to fish while the ocean is churned up.
