Surf Fishing Report:
This is what we call the dog days of summer time. It is so hot and the Ocean is so cold. Watching the cams I see people jumping out as quick as jumping in.
The last several days there have been Spanish reported at ramp 45 and Sea Mullet scattered. I have a picture of a Pompano caught yesterday in Frisco. I have heard nothing from this side of the bridge so is anyone fishing?

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported catching Trout and Black Drum.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish, Mullet and Croaker.
Nags Head: Nothing.
Jennette’s: Nothing yet.
Outer Banks: 2 Croakers and a mullet.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore boats are releasing Red Drum and catching Spanish, Albacore, Moonfish and Kings. Sound fishing remains the place to fish for Trout and Puppy Drum.

Offshore Boats Report:
Offshore continues to catch their limits of Tilefish, a few Blackfin, some Yellowfin and Dolphin. There was a Sailfish release reported by Pirates Cove.

The winds are SW at 11 and the water temp is 60 degrees. Sunny, light winds, flat, small swells.
