Good weather and good fishing continues!

The Trout bite has picked back up in the sound, we weighed 2 right at 4 pounds caught by Lawrence and his son this afternoon. They had a limit of nice size fish! Still plenty of drum to go around inside the inlet and back in the sound. We have heard reports of some citation size fish getting caught on cut bait and artificials!

The ocean side piers are reporting Spot, Croaker, Sheepshead, Flounder, and small Spadefish. There have been a few nice cobia seen as well, there was a nice one was caught yesterday on Avalon. Sheepshead and Black Drum are still the top target down at the Bonner Bridge Pier. Fiddler Crabs, Sandfleas, and cut Peeler Crab have all been working well there.

Offshore continues to be a mixed bag with a few Tuna, Dolphin, Wahoo, and Billfish. Capt. Dave Lusk and his father caught a pair of nice Wahoo while fishing with Capt. Jack Graham on the Afishionado yesterday. Also, next week kicks off the local Billfish tournament season with the Carolina Boat Builders Tournament, hopefully there are plenty of fish around. If you need anything to get rigged up before the tournament stop in and see us!
