Charter boat fishing has been excellent this weekend. They caught Yellowfin, Dolphin, Wahoo, Tilefish and Mako. They also had an 85 in Bluefin and a Sailfish release. Inshore boats are catching plenty of Puppy Drum. There was a good Drum bite at the point yesterday and Ramp 49 caught Drum, Toads, Sea Mullet and Bluefish. I have no news from this side of the bridge. Pier fishing and Bridge fishing is slow. Jake Worthington of Camden, NC bagged his first Turkey. D. J. Patterson and friend visited the Outer Banks the week before Easter. D. J caught 3 Puppy Drum from the surf while Dawn Olimpio sat bundled up against the wind. Best girlfriend ever. The wind is N at 12 and the water temp is 50 degrees.
